Il diavolo probabilmenteDANIELE CINCIRIPINIDuring the artist residency “Nature,” Daniele Cinciripini chose to walk the stretch between Castelfranco Veneto and Padua in the heat of September 2021, joining the place of Giorgione to that of St. Anthony, paying close attention to the most minute phenomenon and being with whom we share, in close contact, our experience. Nothing is created by itself, lives by itself, dies by itself. Every living thing of every species, together with nonliving things, monders together. Nature, Donna Haraway teaches, is a holobiont, a whole being, composed of many in which creatures con-divide with one another. Re-knowing the symbiotic assemblage that is nature meant for Daniele Cinciripini to question his own stature and method. He chose to move exclusively on foot to make a body with the world, and every shadow, be it that of a tree or a bridge, becomes a refuge from sun and heat on the long walk between Castelfranco and Padua. To look at everything, without excluding anything, to consciously con-live with the co-created phenomena that shape the world. Recognizing the capacity of other living, and non-living things, to create figures and representations. With the aim of re-imagining and re-imagining the concept of nature, including humankind.
