TRUE PLACES NEVER ARE

The book “True places never are” presents the outcome of a photographic project oriented to the exploration of the territory of Lecce through the theme of Nature, and organised in Lecce in 2021 as part of the “Transizioni” project. This book is conceived as a visual map designed according to a dual form, photographic exhibition and publication, to emphasize how the body of the landscape can find a possible expression in the body of photography. Creating an unprecedented narrative space, the publication builds an open dialogue between the images of established authors such as Mark Steinmetz (USA), Irina Rozovsky (RUS/USA), Sasha Arutyunova (RUS/USA), Sebastian Collett (USA-France), Giammario Corsi (Italy), Odette England (AUS/UK), Claudio Majorana (Italy), Gabriele Rossi (Italy).
