Analyzing the different aspects that describe the landscape of the Italian Northeast and focusing on the critical factors attributable to the progressive processes of dispersion and fragmentation, visible in this particular geographical area, OMNE – Osservatorio Mobile Nord Est has continued the photographic campaigns launched in 2016, entrusting to five artists-in-residence and three invited photographers an investigation of the Venetian territory starting from the term Beauty. The book is conceived as a box that contains, in addition to a textual apparatus full of contributions by teachers and experts, including “Will the world save beauty?” by Salvatore Settis, eight booklets, one for each photographer, respecting a plural interpretation of the very concept of beauty.
