Nature is a photographODETTE ENGLANDIn this project developed during an artistic residency in Lecce, Odette England seeks to question the relationship between “nature” and “photography,” moving to those places where photography can tell its world and, at the same time, with its nature, ourselves. “Nature is a photograph.It will grow if you feed and water it with your eyes and heart. A small fragment of the world to call our own.A photograph is a plain where we can share a little wisdom with others.Where we can retreat from the world and all its complexities and contradictions, if only for a short time.… But photography deceives Nature.Photography yearns for everything it cannot meet.” (O.E.)
