A Castelfranco, 2019GUIDO GUIDIIn 2019 Guido Guidi takes part in the photographic campaign Verso Nord organized as part of the landscape festival P=S+N to investigate Castelfranco Veneto and its territory. In this series of photographs Guido Guidi turns his interest to the historic center of the Venetian town insisting on the matter of architecture to collect the sediment of time through detail. In the shift of the point of view, obtained through a large-format camera 8×10″, Guidi identifies a tool to verify reality by asking new questions about photography and its codes. “I have always loved to photograph the doors and the doors I prefer are rich in textures, they force me to wander with my eyes. In a sense, the door becomes a little less door, instead becoming a place to think about.” (G.G.)
